Origin: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
Synonyms: Phragmipedium popowii, Phragmipedium warscewizii

Water: weekly watering + mist regularly. Requires a moist enviroment.
Air humidity: 70-90%
Placement: Full shade position+ good ventilation.
Presentation: Flowering size plant. Cultivated in a 11 cm pot with medium bark.
Morphology: Compact medium small epiphyte with dark green leaves and 25 cm long inflorescences. Flowers can grow up to 10 cm with a slipper in green and dark brown shades. Petals can be 30 to 55 cm long.
Flowering season: May to August.
Flowering time: +/- 4 weeks.
Fragrance: No scent
