Correction: This orchid is widely known as Onc. ornithorhynchum. Onc. sotoanum is the new name for the pink flowered Oncidium.

Water: Once a week water + mist regularly

Placement: Half full shade position + good ventilation
Presentation: Flowering size plant in 12 cm pot
Flowers: Several to many spikes, mostly branching out, with 1,5 to 2 cm large pink flowers.
Flowering season: September to March. Occasionally in other months of the year.
Flowering time: +/- 4 weeks
Fragrance: Strong Vanilla scent
