Morphology: A robust plant with sugarcane shaped pseudobulbs. Some of these plants can grow tall and big. The inflorescence appears on top of the cane and has many side bracts with 10 to 100 flowers. Flowers can be variable from pale yellow to dark brown. Most flowers have a leopard design and measure 3,8 to 5,6 cm in size.
Flowering season: February to April.
Flowering time: 4 to 5 weeks.
Fragrance: Sweet honey scent.
